This section is often disregarded but it is the information at the very top of your profile that comes along with your profile image. It should be used as a summary of your current primary role/occupation, where you are from and the organisations that you are most heavily associated with.

A great example:

Here, Ebony has put her primary employment role front and center, as well as specified where she is located. She has also noted where she the organisation she works for the university she studied at off to the right. Simple but effective.
